Arts on Campus
As a student who has spent a considerable amount of time in both the art and music departments, I had a unique perspective on the design problem. As an art major, I have plenty of experiences that I could draw from while working on this project.
The Design Problem
During the Summer, 2022 Creative Thought and Practice PIG, Art faculty sought to create collaboration between different arts departments.
Unfortunately, the departments are separate from one another, sequestered into their separate sides of campus. This makes collaboration hard because no one knows what is going on
How Might We?
How might we bolster arts on campus in order to create collaboration across departments?
Final Design
The final design took the form of a website resource that would exist on the Whitman College home page. From additional research, social media presented itself as a viable option as well.
